Advertising Education

Gillian lectures IMC (Integrated Marketing Communications) at UCT and online through Getsmarter. She also lectures at Ad Schools. Her courses are a blend of academic theory and 25+ years of practitioner experience. She has a high level of material available, on slides and in note form.


UCT (University of Cape Town).

Has lectured Business Science 3rd year (BUS3043S) and Post Grad Diploma in Marketing Management (BUS4016S) through the School of Management Studies, since 2008.



Lectures Foundations of Advertising – a 10 week course, three times a year. This gets the students a UCT certificate.
