Adtherapy is a management, skills development and communication consultancy, aimed at both marketers and agencies. There is a strong focus on improving the relationships between clients and their agencies, through the enhancement of skills and understanding on both sides, with the objective being –

Gillian Rightford

Gillian Rightford

Adtherapy was started by Gillian Rightford. Gillian’s CV is a mix of marketing, advertising, and management. She obtained a Business Science (Honours) degree in Marketing from UCT, worked for Perry & Associates (Marketing Consulting), before heading into the creative world, doing account management and strategy for below- and above-the-line agencies. She subsequently became Managing Director of Hercules / DMB&B / D’Arcy and then Group Managing Director of Lowe Bull.
She started Adtherapy in 2007, a company that aims to help marketers optimise their advertising through skills, structure, strategy, and relationships, amongst other things. Gillian also lectures in Advertising and Marketing Communications at the School of Management Science at the University of Cape Town.
Adtherapy collaborates with experts in their fields to provide holistic and comprehensive advice to clients in the area, from an advertising and marketing point of view. We have access to experts in many fields, with whom we develop and present solutions dependent on the brief.

Graham Pfuhl

Graham Pfuhl

Graham Pfuhl joined Adtherapy to bring his considerable Strategic Marketing expertise to the table. Graham has a B.A. degree from UCT, as well as a S.O.D. in Education (Stellenbosch University) and is one of SA’s few Chartered MarketersHe has had a well-recognised career in marketing with blue chip companies: Nestle, Johnson & Johnson and Nampak, as well as the entertainment industry, being Marketing Director at Ster Kinekor, and Marketing and Sales Director for MNet and Multichoice.
He was awarded the InterLeisure Marketing Award in 1992, and the Loeries Marketing Innovation and Leadership Award in 2010. Said Andrew Human, CEO of The Loeries:“Graham is a brand leader who knows that creativity and passion drive business results”.
